Edward Mirielli
Dr. Edward Mirielli joined our program as Associate Teaching Professor of Data Science and Analytics in June 2021 and brings years of industry and academic experience to the DSA Program. Ed holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology with emphasis in epidemiology/demography and a Ph.D. in Rural Sociology emphasizing applied statistics and the application of computing to the research process; both degrees are from the University of Missouri-Columbia. JON STEMMLE is a professor of strategic communication and former director of the Health Communication Research Center at the Missouri School of Journalism. He also has an appointment as an affiliate faculty member in the School of Health Professions. In his role as a professor, Stemmle has taught a wide range of classes dealing with topics such as public relations, health and science communication, social media, event planning and integrated marketing campaigns. Earnest Perry
Dr. EARNEST L. PERRY is the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at the Missouri School of Journalism. He served as coordinator of the School’s doctoral teaching program for six years and as chair of journalism studies from 2005-2011 and again during the 2013-14 academic year.
