Bio

Dr. Wei Jiang is an associate professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the College of Engineering and the Management Department in the College of Business. Prior to joining University of Missouri-Columbia in Fall 2018, he was an associate professor at the Department of Computer Science of Missouri University of Science and Technology. He received the Bachelor’s degrees in both Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Iowa in 2002. He received the Master’s degree in Computer Science and the Ph.D. degree from Purdue University in 2004 and 2008 respectively. His research interests include privacy-preserving data analytics, privacy issues related to online social networks, and applied cryptography. His work has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Office of Naval Research, the National Security Agency, Google, and the University of Missouri Research Board.
