NSF Scholarship for Service Fellowships in Security

nformatics Core Faculty Dr. Dan Lin received $3.6M from the National Science Foundation. This project is to promote cybersecurity research and education. The program offers scholarships which fully cover tuition and fees, provides $34,000 annual stipend and additional $9,000 funding for equipment, travel and professional development. In total, the program will train 16 students with a 3-year fellowship.  MUIDSI Informatics PhD students are encouraged to apply for this fellowship for informatics research with security focus, such as privacy protection in biomedical data analysis, social networks, federate learning, and spatio-temporal analytics.
